![]() The Magic the Gathering Universes Beyond Warhammer 40K cross-over product brings the universe of the miniature tabletop game into the sleeves of the spell-slinging trading card game. MTG Universes Beyond Warhammer 40K Release Date: October 7, 2022 Here is everything you need to know about the Warhammer 40K EDH Commander Decks, including its release date, cards, commander cards, notable legendaries, notable reprints, and other details. ![]() When, in fact, it was only delayed 6 months, and it wasn't even a year from the sale that it got started to be delivered (the sale was primarily in December last year). The Magic the Gathering MTG Universes Beyond Warhammer 40K EDH Commander Decks are coming right between the releases of Brothers’ War and Dominaria United. It's even questionable to call it long, if only because people have frequently claimed it was "delayed over a year" and so that's the possible meaning of the word "long" here. They also gave everyone effected $50 of product for the wait. They communicated to us that there was an issue, which was the correct thing to do, and then delivered on what they said. Production issues are not disgraceful, they happen and unfortunately due to the way things have gone the last two years are just something that is more likely. They then delivered it within that timeframe that they'd previously estimated (or are delivering rather), Fall 2022. Everyone could opt out if they did not want to wait, and those that did were given collector's boosters in the interim. They announced before the original anticipated release that there were issues with production, and that those issues pushed it back to likely shipping in Fall 2022 instead of spring (i.e., November instead of May). It was a long, disgraceful, and poorly handled road Hopefully this gives you an idea of what I've been seeing. I have included a gallery of photos that I took when opening the Commander deck. The artwork of the Commanders is nice and bright on the full art cards, and the foiled text versions are easy to read, and show minimal signs of Pringling. It is made of Acrylic, and while light, has a reasonable heft to it, so as to not present a danger to a game in progress. The coin is 4cm in diameter and 0.5cm in hight. Opening it up reveals the deck, life counter, plastic coin, and info sheet. The deck comes in a small unadorned cardboard box, and inside is a box that you would expect to get in a Commander Precon deck. Having now received the package, and having unboxed it, I want to share the contents with You all. Not being too sure as to what this might be, I waited until the package arrived to find out. Over this last weekend, I have received shipping updates from FedEx about a package, which was originating from the UK Secret Lair shipping location. For what it is worth, I love in the United Kingdom. I wish to announce that at long last, I have received my copy of the long awaited Heads I Win, Tails You Lose Secret Lair Commander Deck. r/magicTCG is not produced, endorsed, supported by, or affiliated with Wizards of the Coast.
